Permeable paving and other permeable surfaces

Definition: 

Pervious surfaces (either porous or permeable) like permeable paving designed to allow rainwater to infiltrate through the surface and into underlying layers (soils and aquifers), or broader use of permeable areas to promote greater infiltration.
