Key lessons
Transport of goods on the river is nowadays a very important lifeline for many businesses and an economic way to do it.
For this reason we need to ensure sufficient navigation depth for vessels from the upper navigation
depth for vessels from the upper Danube to Constanta.
Over the years the natural river developments have increased the depth of the Bala branch,
while the Old Danube has become shallower.
